To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the University of California at Santa Barbara Environmental Studies Program, Isaac Hernández was commissioned to create a documentary which received a standing ovation at Campbell Hall.

BOOKS: THE ART OF SYMEON SHIMIN (Hardcover)

Symeon Shimin gained renown from his dozens of children's books, fine art and film posters, including for "Gone with the Wind".  Now, his daughter Tonia Shimina has curated this exquisite book, with texts by the artist as well as Josef Woodard and Charles Donelan.

Shimin's work is in the Department of Justice and the Chrysler Museum

This memoir by environmental legal pioneer Marc McGinnes chronicles a uniquely American history, from the "secret city" of Richland, WA, where Marc's mother worked on the Manhattan Project, to Marc’s ongoing work in the environmental movement.
