Marc McGinnes's new book Rise Up (Mercury Press, 2017) launched successfully with standing-room-only events at The Book Den and Chaucer's, and media coverage in the Santa Barbara Independent, the Santa Barbara Newspress and other fine publications. The book is available at Tecolote and the other fine bookstores mentioned above, as well as through Amazon. McGinnes donated a load of books, both to the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Celebration, and to the Environmental Defense Center's silent auction along with a pair of stilts and stilting lessons.
